Camping Las Hortensias, located on the stunning northern coast of Spain, offers direct access to a charming sandy beach, making it a perfect destination for sea and nature lovers. This campsite is in a prime location, surrounded by the majestic landscape of the Spanish mountains and a short drive from the Picos de Europa National Park, an area known for its natural beauty and wildlife, including the Cantabrian brown bear.

Situated between the autonomous communities of Asturias and Cantabria, this serene and rural corner of northern Spain is characterized by its mountainous landscape, with more than half of its territory covered by mountains.

The coastline near the campsite is spectacular, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the small sandy cove of La Franca, located just 100 metres away. It is an ideal spot for swimming, low-tide fishing, and enjoying the picturesque coastal villages and sunbathing areas along the coast.

Beyond coastal activities, the region invites you to discover its cultural and natural wealth through the ancient villages and churches scattered across the mountainous valleys of the interior, offering a window into the past and the traditions of the area.
