⛺ Camping Fuentes del Algar

⛺ Camping Fuentes del Algar
Accommodation available at Kampaoh Fonts d’Algar
We are located in the natural area of the Fuentes del Algar, one of the most important natural pools in Spain. Around 8 natural freshwater pools and beaches make up this beautiful place that offers during the winter and autumn months the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the tranquility and peace of the whole environment of the Fuentes. On the other hand, in the spring and summer months, thanks to the microclimate of the area, you can consider diving into the crystalline waters of the river Algar, go into the Toll de la Caldera, jump over the trampoline of the Toll Blau or go to the source of the river through the Estret de Sacos.
We are at the foot of the Sierra de Bernia, a mountain range capitated by the ancient Arab settlement Fort de Bernia. A mountain range that connects the entire Costa Blanca from Pego to Benissa. It offers panoramic views of the whole coast, at more than 600 metres above sea level. With various hiking routes, the most famous is the circular route to the Forat de Bernia which ends by entering through a small cave that crosses the mountain range and opens up to complete the route and finish it with breathtaking views of the entire coastline.
At the campsite we consider ourselves to be a hybrid between mountain and coast, as only 18 minutes by car separate us from the nearest beach, the Olla beach in Altea. A further 5 minutes away is the Mascarat beach and within a total of 35 minutes you will find the beaches of Benidorm, La Vila and its port, Calpe and its Peñón d’Ifach or the beautiful coves of Jávea, Moraira and Benitatxell.
Another 20 minutes by car we reach 2 of the most beautiful villages in Spain, Altea and Guadalest. Altea in the first place, a coastal town that is characterised primarily by having its entire old town painted white until you reach the church square, a square with tremendous life, gastronomic offerings, viewpoints and a young and bohemian atmosphere that makes it especially welcoming.
As for Guadalest, the most beautiful village in Spain in 2016 and on the list of the most beautiful villages in Europe. It consists of a castle that already existed in the Muslim period and has stunning views of the Guadalest reservoir, it is the centre of the Guadalest Valley where there are several small mountain villages with a great gastronomic offer.
