Can I cancel or modify my reservation for free?

You can modify or cancel your reservation depending on the type of rate you choose.

What is included in our accommodations?

Note: Some campsites have specific rules or exceptions. Here we explain what is most common. We recommend that you check the conditions and rules of the campsite which will be indicated during the booking process and in the reservation terms.

The reservation includes a tent set up and equipped with beds, bedding, towels, electrical connection, indoor and outdoor lighting, kitchenware (cutlery, glasses, and plates), table and chairs, beach cooler… and other items.*

Additionally, the reservation includes the plot, electricity, and the use of all the campsite facilities. In most cases, it also includes a parking spot.*

What about cooking? Cooking equipment is not included, but in most cases, you can bring an electric grill, stove, or similar to cook on the outdoor table that will be prepared for you.*

Please note that depending on the season and location of the campsite, charcoal barbecues may not be allowed due to local fire prevention laws/rules.

How does payment work?

A portion of the total reservation amount, generally 50%, is paid at the time of booking with a bank card. The payment is made during the booking process. This amount will be refunded to the same card in case of cancellation within the free cancellation period.

The remaining amount is paid on the day of arrival at the accommodation’s reception.

Is there a minimum stay required to make a reservation?

The minimum stay at each destination varies depending on the specific dates you choose. When booking online on our website, the minimum number of nights required will be displayed based on the dates you have selected.

Is the campsite owned by Kampaoh?

No, Kampaoh is the company that provides the tents, service support, marketing campaigns, reservation management, and many other tasks that allow us to offer this comfortable and innovative service to the customer. We work in collaboration with the establishment, so in addition to Kampaoh tents, the campsite itself offers other forms of accommodation, which are services completely separate from Kampaoh.

The campsite is responsible for the camping and its facilities, the booking, and legally provides the accommodation service.

How can I book Kampaoh?

By booking online with us, you will always get the lowest rate, as well as offers and promotions that you won’t find when booking through an intermediary.

Can I book multiple tents that are next to each other?

No, it would not be possible to confirm that multiple tents will be together, as this is subject to availability. We’re sorry! However, you can send us your request, and the Kampaoh team will do their best to place your tents together or as close as possible. Once you have made your reservation, contact us again and we will pass your request on to our team.

How much does it cost to stay at Kampaoh?

The answer is, it depends; unfortunately, we cannot provide more specifics. Our prices vary depending on the destination you choose, the season, the specific dates, the type of tent, and the number of people staying. The best way to find out the price is to make a reservation simulation on our website.

Are the bathrooms shared?

In all our destinations, toilets and showers are shared and located in the common areas of the campsite.

Exceptionally, you may find some tents at certain destinations that have an exterior or interior bathroom attached to the tent, which will be for the exclusive use of the guests staying in that tent.

When this option is available, information such as ‘PRIVATE BATHROOM’ will appear in the booking section of the website. Otherwise, if nothing is indicated, the bathroom is always shared.

How many people can fit in a Kampaoh tent and what are the beds like?

Depending on the type of tent you choose, up to 6 people, including adults and children, can be accommodated in the same tent. Additionally, you can include one baby per two paying individuals (adults or children), who stays free of charge sharing a bed.

All beds have double mattresses measuring 135 cm and come fully dressed (pillows, sheets, and duvets). There will be one bed for every 2 paying individuals.

Generally, we do not have single beds available. If the reservation is for 1, 3, or 5 people, the odd person will also have a double bed. Exceptionally, some models include them as a predefined configuration, which you can see in the photos and information of the tent during the booking process.

It’s also worth noting that most beds are directly on the ground. We believe that sleeping on the ground is an essential part of the camping experience in nature. If you prefer elevated beds, there are also some specific models that include them, such as the Emperor Tent.

Can I bring a pet?

We’ve been working for a long time to allow your pets to share this experience with you. That’s why you can now find some destinations with tents adapted to accommodate your pet.

What are the check-in/check-out times?

In general: Check-in: 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM*. Check-out: by 11:00 AM.

If a guest is unable to check in during the specified times, they must notify the accommodation in advance. Otherwise, their reservation will be canceled at 12:00 PM the following day without the possibility of a refund, and 100% of the booking amount may be charged.

Can I organize a party at Kampaoh?

No. It is strictly prohibited, and entry will not be allowed for groups intending to organize parties, even if they have made a reservation, resulting in the loss of the reservation amount (Check the booking conditions to understand how strict we are with this issue).

Kampaoh tents are primarily intended for families, couples, and friends who want to relax and enjoy peaceful vacations. Large group gatherings for parties, birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc., are prohibited.

Additionally, complete silence must be observed in the camping area and its surroundings from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM (The timing may vary slightly depending on the camping site rules).

Can activities be booked with Kampaoh?

If you want to include any activity in your Kampaoh reservation, you must book it directly with the camping site or accommodation where Kampaoh is located. We are working on an option to add these extra services to your reservation, but currently, you would have to arrange it separately and directly with the camping site you wish to stay at, if they offer such services. Occasionally, there may be a booking option with Kampaoh that includes some activity. When available, it will be displayed as an option when booking online on our website.
